My friend and fellow blogger Kristopher Roberts and I checked out this bakery in Bay View Wisconsin called Small Pie. Small Pie is a bakery located in Bay View, Wisconsin. The bakery specializes in pies but also serves sandwiches and other yummy treats like Quiché and several varieties of sandwiches as well as pot pies and meat pies called Hand Pies
I wanted to feature places not only in downtown or east side Milwaukee but also in the surrounding communities as well. Bay View has a lot to offer for both those visiting and residents alike.
I ordered the Mushroom Ranch Melt which has River Valley mushrooms, smoked Gouda and cheddar, tomato, fresh spinach, and topped off with ranch dressing served on a toasted baguette. Kristopher ordered the Southern Ham Melt with smoked ham, melted provolone and cheddar, mayo, dill pickles, sliced tomato, and fresh spinach served on a toasted baguette.
We both enjoyed our meals and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. It has delicious food and great service. In addition, it is in a great walking neighborhood within walking distance of many other great local Milwaukee businesses as well as being close to a walking path following the shores of Lake Michigan you with a local park and beaches.
