Hello everyone. Today we went back to the MKE Ale House in downtown Milwaukee. This is our second visit here, and I was again impressed with the food and service.
On our first trip, we sat outside on the patio and had an excellent view of the Milwaukee River. However, this time due to the cold weather we decided to stay inside.
For starters, we ordered the garlic Parmesan wing with ranch sauce. My spouse got the Wisco burger medium well and I chose the California burger medium-rare.
The Wisco burger is an Angus beef patty stuffed with cheese curds that are topped with mac and cheese on a pretzel bun.
The California burger is also an Angus patty with avocado, Monterey Jack, greens topped with a citrus vinaigrette. They were able to accommodate my request for Swiss cheese instead of Monterey Jack.
We both had sides of sweet potato fries. I had my usual Bloody Mary and he had Pepsi.
MKE Ale House is located in downtown Milwaukee. The downtown area has a lot of different attractions to offer both the visitor and locals.
Outdoor sculptures and artwork designed by different artists nationwide through collaboration with MKE Sculpture.
Check out the organization at Sculpture Milwaukee. They have many events throughout Milwaukee for those interested in art. Downtown Milwaukee offers something for everyone from the sports enthusiast to the classic music lover to the artist.
You can check out the menu for MKE Ale House on their website MKE Ale House. Let them know you found out about the place from my blog at Midwest Lifestyle and Travel.
Again, just like the last time we had nothing but excellent service from the moment we stepped in the door.
They were even able to accommodate our need for an outlet to charge our phones by placing us next to one of their desks which had a power strip that we could use.
The food was well-prepared according to how we wanted it. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for sandwiches, hamburgers, and pizza.
Come check it out sometime. Pictured below are the Garlic Parmesan Wings and the California Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. Check out their menu at http://ale-house.com/
